Shielding effectiveness performance of polyaniline-NiFe2O4:Cu composites for sub-8 GHz applications

Abstract Herein, NiFe 2 O 4 doped Cu was synthesized using a mixed-oxide method to investigate its potential for creating composites with high microwave shielding effectiveness. The compound 2−x x values of 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5, respectively. After sintering at 1250 °C h, single-phase Ni ferrite formed. To analyze the phase composition structure compound, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy were employed. study's findings showed that did not exhibit second phase. create effectiveness, polyaniline-NiFe :Cu fabricated hot-pressing technique, compositions 1.9 0.1 3.95 , 1.7 3.85 1.5 0.5 3.75 aniline, weight ratios Cu-added nickel aniline changed from 1:1 1:3, epoxy resin used. Using two-port vector network analyzer, composites’ effectiveness performance examined in range between 0 8 GHz. study found effect could be easily modified by changing amount polyaniline present specimens appropriate frequency bands. At 6.82 GHz, sample thickness 2.0 mm, minimum − 29.74 dB achieved. Overall, results this demonstrate as effective materials.
